Healthy comes in all shapes and sizes.

There is not just one image that shows you what being healthy looks like. When you’re healthy, you can be overweight. You can have curves, but you can also not have them. You can have large muscles or small muscles. You can be short and stocky or long and lean.

I’m only posting this because I’m seeing an increase in body-image bashing the opposite of what it usually is. I realize this comes as a reaction to the media’s stance on “skinnier is better,” but it helps no one to say that a girl who is naturally skinny is “less healthy” than someone who is at an average or above-average weight. Can you tell “health” by just looking at someone? Sometimes, yes. Most of the time, no.

Love your body. Commit to be healthy and fit.

UGLY PICTURE TIME!

hah, just kidding.

But I just want to talk about my body, and how much I accept the way I look now.

I don’t have the “perfect” body, but I don’t think I have the worst one out there either.  I might not have the “perfect” hourglass body and huge boobs, but who gives a fuck?!  I LOVE my body in every since and I don’t give a shit if you don’t.  I love every curve on my body, I love my height, I love my weight, I love all of it.

I’m not saying any of this to be conceited, or to prove anything to you.  I’m saying all of this for myself.  I’m not going to try to “perfect” myself anymore, I’m not going to try to lose anymore weight .  I don’t care if you don’t like it, because I do.

Every girl should have more self confidence, I don’t know why it took so damn long for me to realize that I’m not an ugly girl at all, and the truth is, neither are you.  We’re all beautiful in our own right and we all deserve to believe that about ourselves.

Maybe it’s time to shut out society’s idea of beauty and make our own, then maybe all of us ladies will be a whole lot happier.

We’re all beautiful, don’t let ANYONE let you think otherwise :))

You can do it too.

Just to anyone who is following me: I want you to look at the girl in the top photos.

That was me in 8th grade. I weighed somewhere in the 190s, and was 4’11.

And yes, I was fat. And I’m not gonna lie and try to make excuses for myself, and say it wasn’t hard, it was. It sucked.

Now look at the girl in the bottom two photos,

This is me in 11th grade. I weigh around 130 pounds, I’m 4’11.

Who is prettier?

Neither. They are both beautiful.

So to any girls, who they they are fat, or ugly, or overweight. Beauty isn’t the size of your skirt, or the number on the scale. And you can lose weight a healthy way.

I did.

And I am just as beautiful back then as I am now.
